Laczkó, Tibor: On the inventory of grammatical functions in LFG from a Hungarian perspective

In this paper I concentrate on the status of the following three grammatical functions in LFG: COMP, XCOMP and PREDLINK. I offer a critical assessment of a previous LFG analysis of Hungarian, and I argue that this language provides evidence for keeping COMP and XCOMP, and having PREDLINK in the inventory of grammatical functions in LFG.
