EACL-MWE 2017 workshop proposal - joint event: traditional workshop + short task - proposal: 2-day event but we may end up in 1,5/1 day + posters - a competing proposal expected from Valia Kordoni - back-up plan for the shared task: a workshop at another venue (CICLING, TALN) or a separate workshop - special volume for selected papers from the MWE workshop - in principle OK for Yannick, Victoria, Mike and Manfred - Manfred: according to the book series procedures, a formal volume proposal should be submitted to the editors - open questions: * same papers or their extended versions? * additional reviews needed? * should we mix papers from the traditional workshop, from the shared task and from outside? * Yannick: ask the opinion of LSP people about these issues 4. Synergies between WGs and the shared task - feedback from Victoria: * good methodology, decision trees etc. * inappropriate choices of some English examples in the linguistic tests * Agata: the ST team badly needs an English native speaker to enhance the English examples and formulations 5. Final reporting (info by Ralph): - remote evaluation of the report - template on e-COST for the chair - collect all the impact from WG's, publications, applications, submissions of project proposals - the report is due 3-4 months after the end of the action - start working on the contents before the end of the action - important chapter to prepare about the action's outcomes: * Target audience: informed non-experts, COST community/officers * What has the action achieved? * What are the success stories (remarkable facts, e.g.: PARSEME/eNEL synergy, shared task). Numerical data, e.g. number of STSMs etc. are no good success stories. 6.
