On accommodation, I have secured 15 rooms for LFG attendees at the Yiri Lodge, a guest house located on campus. You can kindly send an email to the manager to make your reservation. Also, kindly let him know if you need airport pick-up. This comes at a very moderate fee than using the airport taxi.

Kotoka International Airport has registered taxi drivers identifiable by their black trousers, white shirts, and accredited tags. If your hotel does not provide pick-up service, you can utilize their services. Uber rides are challenging to secure at the airport arrivals, with fares typically around 100 cedis ($7), give or take. However, once you leave the airport, Uber services are readily available at most lodging locations.

For members who have expressed interest in joining the pre-conference workshop, this will take place at the Institute of African Studies, University of Ghana.

Big shops, hotels and restaurants in Ghana accept credit cards but taxis, hawkers and food sellers across the streets do not. It is advisable to carry some cash on you which is easy to change. Credit cards can also be used to withdraw money from the ATM.
The conference fees of $100 can be paid onsite and in cash.
