If a language has Switch-Reference marking between non-adjacent clauses, it will also mark Switch-reference between adjacent clauses.
Standardized
IF there is switch-reference marking between non-adjacent clauses, THEN switch-reference between adjacent clauses will be marked as well.

    Following Munro 1980, Haiman & Munro identify the clause in which switch-reference is marked as the marking clause, and the clause with reference to which it is marked as the reference clause.
