A descending pitch ramp follows a voiceless obstruent; a rising pitch ramp follows a voiced obstruent.
Standardized
IF an obstruent is voiceless, THEN after it the pitch range is descending;
IF an obstruent is voiced, THEN after it the pitch range is rising.
