Getting to Konstanz

By Aeroplane:

The nearest airports are Zurich Airport (ZRH), the Bodensee-Airport Friedrichshafen (FDH), and Stuttgart (STR).

By Train:

By train from Zurich Airport:

Trains to Konstanz leave every half hour.

By train from Stuttgart Airport:

In order to travel to Konstanz you need to take a train from the Airport to the Stuttgart main station (Hbf), leaving every 10-20 minutes. At the main station you switch to a train going to Konstanz via Singen (1 change in Singen).

From Bodensee-Airport:

From the Bodensee-Airport Friedrichshafen you can travel to Konstanz either by train or by train and boat:
1. By train vial Radolfzell (1 change).
2. By train to Friedrichshafen, Hafenbahnhof and then by catamaran to Konstanz Hafen (1 change).

By Car:

From Stuttgart (180km / 110 miles):

Take the motorway A81 from Stuttgart towards Singen. From the interchange "Hegau" follow the road signs to Konstanz.

From Munich (220km / 140 miles):

Take the motorway A96 from Munich towards Lindau. In Lindau switch to the B31 towards Meersburg.
Once you reach Meersburg take the ferry from Meersburg to Konstanz.
