The trip from the Athens Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos) to your hotels will take you about 1.30-2,00 hours.

Easiest way to get to your hotels from the AthensAirport (Eleftherios Venizelos) is by metro: From the Airport catch Line 3 (blue line) and get off at Syntagma Square (a longish trip)‚Äîyou buy a one way ticket at the station for five or six Euros (I am not quite sure about that fee). At SYNTAGMA SQUARE (Œ£Œ•ŒùŒ§ŒëŒìŒúŒë) change to Line 2 (red line), Direction ELLINIKO (ŒïŒõŒõŒóŒùŒôŒöŒü) and get off at ACROPOLI (ŒëŒöŒ°ŒüŒ†ŒüŒõŒó) (just the first stop from Syntagma Square, be careful).  When you get out of the metro station, you will find yourselves on a pedestrian road called Makrygianni (ŒúŒëŒöŒ°Œ•ŒìŒôŒëŒùŒùŒó). You will walk south (that is towards the traffic and not towards to a close-by pedestrian road that crosses Makrygianni road) and, the first road that you will meet (about 80 meters from the metro station) will have lights, will be narrow and full of cars and will be called ROVERTOU GALI (Œ°ŒüŒíŒïŒ°Œ§ŒüŒ• ŒìŒöŒëŒõŒô). Great, here you go right. AND:

-people who go to HERODEION just walk straight ahead

-people who go to PHILIPPOS will walk straight and turn left at MITSEON (ΜΗΤΣΑΙΩΝ)

-people who go to DIVANI will walk straight, turn left at KAVALOTTI  (ŒöŒëŒíŒëŒõŒüŒ§Œ§Œô)  and then left at PARTHENONOS (Œ†ŒëŒ°ŒòŒïŒùŒ©ŒùŒüŒ£)

Unfortunately, metro operates from 5.30am to 12.00pm (but check also with www.ametro.gr). 

Busses from the airport to the center of Athens operate round the clock http://www.oasa.gr/content.php?id=airlines&lang=en. You will catch X95 (to SYNTAGMA SQUARE) at the airport. You will buy a ticket at the airport bus stop, again for 5 or 6 Euros. You will get off at SYNTAGMA SQUARE (end of the trip). Well, well, well, you are quite close to the hotels and you can simply catch one of the numerous taxis that are there. You will be at your hotel in 5-6 minutes and the trip must cost less than 4 Euros at day time and evening and about 5 Euros at late night. Still, here is how you can make it by trolley-bus to your hotels. X95 leaves you on the top part of SYNTAGMA SQUARE. You have to walk downhil, cross the avenue at the traffic lights, turn right and look for or ask for the bus stop of the trolley lines 1 or 5 or 9. They all stop at the same stop. Any of these will do the job. You will get off at the 3^rd stop but, be careful, it is not necessary that the trolley bus will stop at all these stops! The name of the stop is AYIOS IOANNIS (ŒëŒìŒôŒüŒ£ ŒôŒ©ŒëŒùŒùŒóŒ£) and certainly there is a church there called Ayios Ioannis (St John) quite visible from the trolley bus. The bus leaves you at the corner of MISARALIOTOU and VEIKOU (ŒúŒôŒ£ŒëŒ°ŒëŒõŒôŒ©Œ§ŒüŒ•, ŒíŒïŒôŒöŒüŒ•):

--people who go to DIVANI will walk up MISARALIOTOU, turn left at the first road (TSAMI KARATASI, ΤΣΑΜΗ ΚΑΡΑΤΑΣΗ) and right at the first road (PARTHENONOS, ΠΑΡΘΕΝΩΝΟΣ)

--people who go to PHILIPPOS will walk up MISARALIOTOU and turn right at MITSEON (ΜΗΤΣΑΙΩΝ)

--people who go to HERODEION will walk up MISARALIOTOU, turn right at MITSEON (ΜΗΤΣΑΙΩΝ), walk past PHILIPPOS hotel up to ROVERTOU GALI (ΡΟΒΕΡΤΟΥ ΓΚΑΛΙ) road. You will see HERODEION on the opposite side of the road.

Do not panic, the longest walk is about 300 meters long.
