Phase 1: The Production and Perception of Rhetorical Questions in German
In the first phase of the project (April 2016-March 2019), the project examined the prosodic differences between rhetorical questions (RQs) and information-seeking questions (ISQs) in German (and other Germanic languages), taking into consideration both production and perception. In the second phase (April 2019-March 2022), the primary goal of the project is to work towards a prosodic grammar for rhetorical questions. Read more here:
